We stayed at Jake’s family home for a week to recharge and plan the rest of our route. Jono and Maria joined our caravan and began to travel with us down the east coast. We were able to set everyone up in the yard and build a bonfire pit to enjoy for our time there.

Jake’s uncle, Jim, was celebrating his birthday during our visit. Jake’s aunt Bonnie invited us all out to Harrah’s casino in Atlantic City for dinner and drinks. We spent some time on the boardwalk, walked down to the beach, and had our own private dance party on the Jersey Shore.

Jake’s family also had a pizza party at the house for friends and family to enjoy Jim’s birthday. We enjoyed the bonfire a few times (when it wan’t raining) and took our friends to our favorite buffet in Atlantic City.
