Living in Maine : Week 7
As the season approached it’s end, we did a little less exploring. This week we had a Saturday Lobster Bake, Drove to New Hampshire, and had our Team Time Tuesday.
September 21st:
Saturday Lobster Bake
September 22nd:
We Drove Daniel and Marikja, seasonal campers at Megunticook Campground, to their winter camp site in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Daniel had purchased his camper and the company he bought it from delivered it to his site at Megunticook. He was apprehensive about towing it to their new site in New Hampshire, so Jake drove the truck with him and coached him on what to expect and what to be careful for. Daniel drove for a portion of the trip to get comfortable with towing the camper himself. I drove my car and Marikja was my passenger. We had a nice conversation on the three hour drive. We arrived to the new campground, backed-in their camper, made sure they were hooked up, and were on our way.
We had lunch at Bayside Grill and Tavern where I had a New England Clam Chowder and Onion Rings and Jake had a Mediterranean style Turkey Sandwich.
